I guess there is a third guarantee in life, death, taxes and a vote of confidence!! Jim Johnson, vote of confidence, out as closer! Jose Veras, vote of confidence, out as closer! The closer carousel is in high gear, only two weeks into the season!!

I think it used to be you had a few weeks after the vote of confidence to right the ship; then it narrowed to a few days. Rick Renteria has pushed the envelope - wasn't that about 12 hours? Next guy to top him will give a vote of confidence at the beginning of post-game press conference, then announce he's making a change at the end of same news conference.

LOL!! You are probably right! Who's next? Guessing maybe Lindstrom but with retreads like Rodney and Valverde this year could be quite bit of fun!
