Best way to get a sleepy player slugging...bench him.

I did the same with Ortiz in one league and Carlos Santana in another this weekend.
It's only 3 days.

This is very simple. The question is - Why would I ever bench Wil Myers in mid-April?

cotton- lay off the sauce. in our universe he was 3 for 4 with a 3 run homer and a solo. you had him - what 4 for 7 with 2 homers , one of which was a grand slam?

I had considered benching Miggy for that 4 day period where the Tigers were playing only two games in Dodger Stadium. Someone told me I'd be better off sitting VMart since he might miss one of the games due to no DH in the NL park so Miggy stayed in.

Cabrera went 1-for-8 with no counting stats.
Martinez went 4-for-8 with a HR, 2 runs, 3 RBI.

Sometimes ya gotta follow your gut and pass on the "common sense" play.

Had Myers benched on two of the 3 teams I had him. just glad to see him finally do something so no worries here. Sometimes you have to bench them to get them going so I think maybe we done that.
