It's time for this. Let's start thinking about it.

Mentioned it to Greg back in November. Didn't think we could pull it off for this year but 2015 seems just right. Don't foresee a problem filling the league.

It does seem like the natural progression with this group, right? ;) Let's count on it.

You can count me in, just as soon as I cash my 2014 overall championship check.

I have no problem with this idea. However, let's talk about the payouts for a Diamond Auction and even the Diamond Draft. Is it time to pay out only 3 spots in the Diamond and push the grand prize to $100,000 or do folks still like spreading out the prize payments to four spots with a $75,000 grand prize?

It's also a very busy schedule on that First Weekend in Las Vegas. Does this happen on Sunday night, March 29th? Plenty to discuss. If anyone is interested in the NFBC Diamond Auction, feel free to post here so that we can see if there's interest in this format. We're certainly game for running it and putting it on the schedule if the demand is there. Thanks Bob.

1st place for the DIamond should be $100k. At the very least, the 4th prize should be eliminated and moved into 1st place making it $85k. There's no other league that pays 4th place. It offends my sensibilities. 4th place isn't good enough to deserve money.

Easy to say for the guy who only finishes in first place. :P

I don't know about the payout, but with the Platinum draft taking over as the top draft format the Diamond has lost it's lustre. Making it the top auction format certainly brings that lustre back. Count me in for making this an auction league.

:D

By taking this stand, I am guaranteeing myself only 4th place finishes from now on, but what's right is right.

Probably true. I bitched about breaking even after finishing 4th two years in a row and I promptly got whacked down to 14th this year. Don't mess with the fantasy gods! :D

Agree with BP -- should be 1st/2nd/3rd only.

You can put me down as tentative. 8-)

Probably would team up again with Fleming for this one given how well we did this year together.    At least we'd have a legitimate shot at losing with the players we actually wanted to draft.

And prizes should be for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd only. Consolation prizes should be discussed for last place as well. A year's supply of Turtle Wax and Rice-A-Roni (The San Francisco Treat) sounds about right to me. ;)
