Setting aside anyone who is hurt --- my pick goes to Domonic Brown of the Phillies. .229 average, 1 HR and 3 steals so far.
I have two teams and have DB on both of them. UGH

For me and my teams with injuries aside, Allen Craig and Will Venable have to be leading the charge here. Jose Reyes did have early injuries, but has been brutal since his return. There's been many others who could be considered, but these guys stick out right now.

On the pitching side, I'd have to say Salazar so far, though Homer Bailey has been a major disappointment as well.

Still hoping for a major turnaround for each of these players and more. As recent hints of production from those who started brutally slow for me like Encarnacion, Hanley, Beltre, Teixeira, and Crawford show, it's early, it's a long season, and there's always hope.

Crawford I see no hope for... Joc Pederson will replace him probably at sometime.

Cingrani, Cole, Hosmer, Heyward, Lucroy, Sabathia, Granderson, Everth Cabrera, Boegarts, Cain, Prado, Cano, Pedroia, Wright, and these are the healthy under performers...

For me it's Beltre so far. Got his 1st HR last night. I was expecting better than 1 HR and 7 RBI through the first week of May. The .264 BA is not helping either... OK, he was hurt, but did nothing before he got hurt anyway. Here's hoping his 1st HR sparks some power. Pete.

Not sure if he's a bust or not, since most smart people, unlike me, probably never expected much to begin with, but I am really starting to HATE with a passion, Yonder Alonso. Bit on the off-season antedotes big-time on him. STIFF.

Walt Jocketty smoked SD in that Latos trade.

Of course, nobody will pick a player that is off to a hot start right? Like Juston Upton last year. He was really a bust the rest of the year for the most part. It's only April. Alonso may still pan out. Now, by the end of May if he is still lousy; then you could be right.

agree with a lot of the names, I would add Chris Davis. Didn't expect 53 again, but before injury tracking less than 20?

Domonic Brown now has an OPS of .571. That is Steve F***ing Jeltz territory!!!
And he was supposed to be my number one OF (this is a pitching heavy team).

Not early anymore; but Hardy (0 HR's) and Liriano. I suppose Liriano had his one good year for every 5/6 years last year again so back to his old self.

No one should have expected Venable to repeat last year.
