Mike Trout pulled in 5th inning

Post by Deadheadz » Tue May 20, 2014 10:44 pm

:o
This could deserve its own thread.

The Angels are up 8-1 so they may be giving him a rest, but Trout was pinch run for in the bottom of the 5th inning after reaching base safely.
I'm not aware of the reason so anyone who can shed some light on the situation would be a big help to us all.

from Rotowire

Mike Trout - OF, ANA May 20 11:3 PM
Updating a previous report, Trout was removed from a game against the Astros in the bottom of the fifth inning as a precaution, as he has been dealing with tightness in his legs, Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reports. RotoWire.com Recommends: Trout was the designated hitter in the contest Tuesday, and now we know why. It sounds like the 22-year-old, who was removed from the contest after legging out a high chopper for an infield single, is not dealing with a significant ailment, but the situation is definitely worth monitoring over the next few days.
