Boo Birds at Mets Games are to blame

Sorry Alan- I've Heard it all now... charting swing data because of booing... How about because the Mets organizational leadership sucks... Attendance tanking, bad FA signings, nice guy manager who is clueless, and now its the Fans fault...
Collins, however, fueled the issue, speaking of data charting the swings and misses and swings out of the strike zone that are higher at home than on the road.
“Have you ever been booed?” Collins asked. “Does it feel good? Human nature is, ‘You know what, I don’t want it to happen again.’ So what do you do? You try harder to keep it from happening again. These guys are not robots.”

Mets & Phillies will battle all year for last place. Sure they have had some bad luck (Harvey, Syndegard?) with injuries, but more of the problems are their own doing. Let's look at the starting 8:
* Curtis Granderson may go down as one of the worst free agent signings of all time - right next to Jason Bay. You think they would have learned once. Just terrible.
* Juan Lagares - serviceable OF
* Eric Young - good back up OF with speed, but unfortunately he's a starter on this team
* David Wright - one of best players in the game. Nothing wrong here.
* Ruben Tejada - why didn't they bring Steve Jeltz out of retirement instead?
* Daniel Murphy - pretty decent player - good enough
* Lucas Duda - let's give him the full year before commenting further, but looks like he's not more than a .240 guy
* Travis D'Arnaud - looks like the Mets got robbed in this trade. Should have kept R.A. Dickey
I see major problems in RF, LF, SS, and C that can be directly attributed to poor management decisions. The pitching actually looks pretty decent, especially if Harvey returns and looks as good as previous, but you've got to get some better hitting than what's on the roster now...

Their pitching potential does look awesome on paper, but Wheeler is already not where most expected him to be. Remember the days of the big 3 , Wilson, Izzy, Pulsipher, sure hope it does not end up that way again for the Mets.... Collins needs to go, nice guy, but nice guys finish last a lot... He has never taken a team to the playoffs..The GM should go too... hes living on the past..
