So I check in on the Tiger - Royals game. My "#1" pitcher Anibal Sanchez going...seven IP....good...five hits and one walk...great...one earned run...nice...ZERO STRIKEOUTS?

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

I'll never forget 3 years ago when I owned Liriano. I needed him to be the dominant Liriano of days past and then saw the news one night that he had thrown a no-hitter. I was pumped up! He's back, I thought. Then I saw the box score. Only 2 ks and 6 walks!!! My. Pitcher had just thrown a no hitter and I was disappointed
