Rumor has it that at least three NFBC owners are headed to Las Vegas this weekend to compete in Fanduel's $1 million Daily Fantasy Baseball Championship. More than $3 million will be awarded this Saturday at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas with 70 owners flying out there for a luxurious weekend of baseball and fun. First place in the one-day contest is worth $1 million, with second place earning $300,000 and third place earning $100,000. Every owner is guaranteed at least $10,000.

If my sources are correct, Glenn Schroter has three tickets to the tournament, while Dave Potts and Bob Particelli have one spot each. These were earned throughout the baseball season in daily contests, so just winning those tournaments is quite a feat indeed. I believe the Fantasy Alarm team of Jeff Mans and Ted Schuster also have a spot in the tournament, as does NFFC owner Jeff Tirabassi. Good luck to all of our good friends and hopefully someone we know leaves Las Vegas with $1 million.

Kudos to Fanduel for creating such a great contest and prize. DFS has grown by leaps and bounds in the last couple of years and this is just another example of how astute players can win money in season-long games and in DFS. We'll be watching the Twitter feeds to see who earned the big payday in this contest. Good luck all.

the Cincy Col game was cancelled due to water pipe bursting. A lot of these players had players from the those 2 teams...

Dave Potts is killing it and has already surpassed last year's winning total. He's in line to win the $1 million prize. Stay tuned.
