Everyone who is in contention for a money finish in an NFBC league this year should be getting a W-9 form in the mail later this week or early next week, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope. Our goal is to get W-9 tax forms back from you and then send out the winning checks immediately after the 2006 MLB season is completed. Once we have your W-9 on file, we can send out your winning check.



If you receive the W-9 in the mail, fill out your social security number and sign it and then mail back to us. Even if you don't finish in the money, it doesn't hurt to have this on file. You only pay taxes on earnings of $600 or more, but we still need a W-9 on file for any winnings. We are also going to pay all winners and can't use the winnings for a deposit on 2007 entries. We'll exchange checks if needed.



The 2007 NFBC rules and signup page will be ready the day after the MLB season concludes. We are definitely going with four cities and should have everything finalized by the end of the month. More details to come soon.



Good luck everyone down the stretch. We're ready to reward all of the winners, so send in those W-9s ASAP.

If it's not too late, I would like to post my vote for Orlando for the florida location this year.

It's not too late Andy. We've gotten a number of requests for Orlando. What it's likely going to come down to is the bottom line -- we're looking into options in both cities that can accomodate us and it will probably boil down to a cost issue and which city and site can work with us the best. Big surprise, huh?
