Message from the Dark Side

Post by Edwards Kings » Sat Aug 30, 2014 5:07 pm

Thinking about jumping in to one of the Rotowire Online Championship games. I know...just proves you can spread inadequacy over a wide area.

I have a question but my account on that side is inactive, so I cannot post a question over there. I will post here and hope someone can answer it (not like we are talking much baseball). The RB and WR points per the site are:

RUSHING

.10 points for every yard rushing (works out to 1 point every 10 yards)
6 points for every rushing TD
2 points for every 2-Point conversion
minus 1 point for every lost fumble
6 points for a recovered offensive fumble for a touchdown (RB, QB, WR, TE)

RECEIVING

.10 points for every yard receiving (works out to 1 point every 10 yards)
6 points for every receiving TD
1 point for every reception for all players
2 points for every 2-Point conversion
minus 1 point for every lost fumble

So, does this mean that RBs do not get credit for receptions or reception yards? I.e. not a PPR league for RB's?
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Running backs and wide receivers (and QB's for that matter) all receive rushing and receiving points.

Actually, if a RB threw a TD pass to a QB, the RB would get passing points and the QB would get receiving points.

I assume that once my league fills out, I will get a link to the draft page?
