Nothing like trying desperately to gain a few points in the hitting categories only to find out half your team is getting the night off.

Too bad the Nats weren't playing the Reds. The Nats played all backups for a days rest for regulars after a night of celebrating a pennant. The Reds did the same thing but because of ineptness the night before according to their manager. Talk about needed a scorecard to know the players.

Of course the Reds were not playing in the National ESPN game. The Nats-Braves game was.
