Congrats To All 2014 NFBC Auction Champions

We had nine leagues in the NFBC Auction Championship this year, consisting of 135 teams. Bob Particelli won the $20,000 overall prize as he competed in his first ever baseball auction. Nice job CHAMP!!!
It was interesting to look at every roster of the first place teams because each team was constructed differently. There really wasn't one main player who was consistently on each team. That's the beauty of auction leagues: You can construct a winning team any way you like. One team started with Trout and Kershaw, while another team started out with Jim Henderson and still won a league title!! Very interesting.
We did have one tie this year in the Auction Leagues as Dave Potts and KJ Duke tied for first in the Las Vegas March 21st afternoon league. Nice battle guys. Here's a look at all nine league champions, and again, CONGRATS everyone:
Chicago Auction League - Doug Gruber
New York $2500 Auction - Michael DeCavalcante
Las Vegas March 21 - Raymond Chung
Las Vegas March 21 - KJ Duke and Dave Potts (tied for first place)
Las Vegas March 28 - Bob Particelli
Las Vegas March 28 - Dave Clum
Las Vegas March 30 - Mike Rothe & Michael Stevens
New York March 21 - Anthony Palavis & Eric Burd
New York March 23 - Anson Chan
We also had two private auction leagues in Las Vegas: The $1300 AL Auction and the $1300 NL Auction. We had a tie in the AL Auction, while Jon Stadtmueller capped off a fantastic season by winning the $1300 NL Auction. Congrats to these champions as well:
$1300 Las Vegas AL Auction - tied for first: Mark Srebro & Jason Emma; and Sam Botnick
$1300 Las Vegas NL Auction - Jon Stadtmueller
