First Sighting!
At the grocery store...first fantasy baseball magazines hitting the shelves...Lindy's and Sporting News Fantasy...No, I did not buy them, but I did linger for a while....
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

A visual of Wayne drooling and 'lingering' with the magazine open....
A lady passes by and hears Wayne murmering,
"OOOH I like him!"
"OOOH, what I could do with him!
"OOOH,if only I could get those guys to do what I want!"
She is appalled. Store security is called. Wayne is led away in handcuffs.
"I was only looking at my fantasy Mag!"..."Wait. That didn't come out right! Guys, you have to listen to me!"
Security Guard- "You'll have plenty of time to think about your fantasy guys in the klink!"
"Who knows you may even meet one there!"
Wayne shakes his head, laughs, and thinks to himself, "Next time, I buy the damned thing and take it home!"

Some of the coolest had to spend some time in the pokey...

P.S. Western Union $500 to the Duluth City jail, or at least FedEx a hacksaw to same care of "Crazy Som'bitch in Cell #3"!

There are so many things hysterically wrong with this statement, but I will let it go. Very far be it for me to stir the potGreg Ambrosius wrote:We should have an NFBC ad in Lindy's.
