Primetime New York: Friday April 3rd 4 pm ET

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue Feb 10, 2015 9:51 am

We are excited about the New York live events at the New York Hilton this year. With MLB pushing back the start of the 2015 season one week, that meant that our New York live events would land on Easter weekend, which was scary. We weren't sure how that would affect our live events, but so far it looks like it could be a record year in New York, so thanks everyone.

We have a record number of Auction Championship Leagues this year (4), the MTM Super League is full earlier than ever before for Friday night and we are on pace for a good Main Event lineup as we already have a full Thursday league for those who couldn't make it into Manhattan on Saturday. So all is good in the Big Apple.

But we still don't have a single Primetime League in New York City despite the $80,000 grand prize. We haven't filled a full Primetime League in New York the last two years, but I've been contacted by some owners who want to do both Main Events live. I agree, so let's see if we can narrow the options and get some momentum going here.

One option is 4 pm on Friday, April 3rd. We have several owners who are coming to Manhattan for the 10 am Auction and maybe adding one more draft would keep them around for this. Maybe some owners would do this before the 15-team Super that night since these can be done in 3 hours or less. Let's add the Friday 4 pm Primetime and I know Mike Mager will put his name on the list first. So now only 11 spots left!!!

New York Primetime League
New York Hilton, Friday, April 3, 4 pm ET
1. Michael Mager, East Greenbush, New York

We have a full Auction Championship League after the Main Event on Saturday, April 4th in New York, but we are offering the Main Event Doubleheader in each city and have a 7 pm ET Primetime set in New York as well. Let's keep that one on this list as well:

New York Primetime League
New York Hilton, Saturday, April 4, 7 pm ET
1.

We'd love to fill up a Primetime in New York as part of our goal of 21 Primetime leagues this year. Two leagues would be even better. Anyone else have an interest in a 12-teamer in the Big Apple? Let's hear from ya. Thanks all.

Thanks, Greg. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to make it to NYC on the Friday before Saturday's Main Event. Now that I know I can get down there without screwing-up any family Easter plans, it would be a lot of fun to get a draft in that Friday afternoon. Hopefully, there are some others in the same boat and we can fill this Primetime league.

I'm selfishly bumping this thread once just to see if we can gain any momentum to fill a 4 pm (or 7pm) Primetime league on the Friday in NYC. Please reply if interested or even tentatively interested. Thanks.
