Anthony Rendon

Is it just me getting the bad vibe from the injury to Anthony Rendon?
Regardless, no news is usually bad news when it comes to fantasy baseball.
We like definite timelines as to when a player will play. When not getting a timeline from a team, we get antsy at the least, dismissive at most.
In Rendon's case, we're leary that IF he comes back to the field and feels the same pain, he misses even more of the regular season.
If our Main Event were this weekend, not next weekend, Rendon would not be taken even near his ADP.
Second and third base eligibility means little on our bench.
One way or the other, news will change on Rendon before Big drafts.
If the news is surgery, he plummets.
If the news is 3/4 weeks of rest. It is worse news in my reckoning. For other drafters, not so.
If he plays in spring training again, his adp hit will be mimimal.
And, if the Nats continue 'not knowing' what his timeline is, Rendon could be taken anywhere from the first to third rounds.
An intriguing case.
