KJ, your running a Calcutta for this right?
My quick odds: (keep in mind I know nothing!)
Over/Under finishing place
Lord Zola 10.5 (doesn't he write for ESPN on daily games?!?)
CCSDESPERADOS 10.5 (He has written about every player in MLB, so is that an edge?)
KJ Duke 25.5 (lineup full of Cubs and his hate for the daily game get him top 25?)
Deadheadz 30.5 (you get three of his entries so odds have to go up right?)
Wagner13454 50.5 (guy doesn't have his hof by his side, so PRETENDER!)
I'll try to add more as trying to figure out who else is in... Or even better, add to the list or place your bets! Should be a fun little lottery ticket tonight.

Thanks all and let's fill this baby up!!

Former winner with 3 entries gets you an O/U of 15.5...
Harvey % 50 higher or lower?
Miggy % 50 higher or lower?
Trout % 50 higher or lower?

Greg,
Please punch my Main Event ticket for 2016

.
Lots of great lineups from evryone last night.I believe it came down to the Padres and Diamond backs game for all winning entries.
Kinda cool I won the first contest last year and this year.I just hope I can turn that $25 entry into some larger $$$$.
If I can win this this contest so can you.Lets give it a try next Tuesday.
Thanks again Greg for running this contest.

Congrats, Bryan.
I'm still as bad at this as I was last year. I guess consistency is a skill.

Bryan Sannito
Congrats to Bryan Sannito of Manteno, Illinois for winning the first 2016 Main Event entry from Fanduel.com. As Bryan said, he won the first Fanduel contest last year, which allowed him to play in the Main Event for the first time this year. He drafted Online on April 4th and is already off to a great start in that league. I think he's coming back to that contest again next year and maybe we'll even get him to the live event!!
Here were the final standings and congrats to all 5 of our winners. The 2nd through 5th place finishers will have their dollar amounts deposited into their Fanduel accounts to play again, while Bryan's Main Event entry is good to go. I promise, we'll do this again next Tuesday under the same format.
Top 5 finishers in Tuesday's NFBC/Fanduel contest:
1. Bryan Sannito, Wins 2016 NFBC Main Event entry
2. Chris Beeler, $150
3. Vlad Sedler, $100
4. Rich Kulaski, $75
5. Chris Cosley, $75

Thanks Everyone.
I think the pay structure is very good.If you finish top 5 that allows you a few more entries to win that free MAIN EVENT entry.
Goodluck to everyone who enters each week.

I want to see this contest go all season if possible.
It's very good for 5 out of 91 entrants. Talk to me again when these events are having trouble filling up in a few weeks when our original deposits have run out and most of us aren't finishing close to the top 10. Greg says they would consider opening up the contest to non-NFBC members to fill out the field but they're not bullish on how many would be interested in winning a ticket to the NFBC Main event over a cash prize in another $25 contest.
And even if it does fill every week with non-NFBCers winning the top prizes will those of us still playing be inclined to keep going back when our opponents are potentially DFS sharks?
No one replied to my idea of paying a flat structure after the $1600 Main Event going to 1st place so I assume no one liked the idea but for those who may have missed it I suggested paying $10 to spots 2 thru 41 which would likely keep those guys coming back to play the following week and encourage additional deposits to top them up. Greg even said FanDuel likes to see more spots paid than top-5 so it's really STATS that likes the current payout structure.
I''m fine with keeping it as-is until the entries start to dwindle. But before we open it up to strangers, let's consider ways to keep our current pool of players interested in coming back even if they (okay I mean ME) are so bad at DFS they're not likely to ever win the top prize without it being a fluke.
Just one dude's opinion.
