With Tom on the DL this week, I'm flying solo on the STATS Fantasy Advantage on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio from 10 pm ET to midnight. So as a result, I'm bringing in my Hollywood friends as guests tonight. We'll have Nick Cassavetes on at 10:30 pm ET and James Roday Rodriguez on at 11:15 pm ET. Thanks to Nick and James for joining me last night on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio. Both were great guests.

Nick was fantastic, talking about his dad, the great film producer John Cassavetes, who introduced him to baseball in the 1960s and how they each drafted players and kept track of stats from the Sunday paper and the Sporting News. Baseball allowed Nick to talk with his dad and his dad's peers on a personal level that no other subject allowed. Nick said he loves coming to the NFBC drafts each year and teaming up with his college roommate on leagues, but most of all it reminds him of the days when he and his dad drafted baseball players together. Very cool retrospective by Nick.

James was fantastic from the start and he even gave a shout out to Shawn Childs for his hospitality and openness to talk baseball at any time. This was a good 20-minute interview as James was very engaging.
