We already have 31 of 91 spots filled to start the day. I'm loving the fact that Fanduel gets us the link the night before the contest, which allows many of you to get your teams secured before the end of the work day. Great job all. Still 60 spots left and a Main Event prize at stake along with four other cash prizes. Enjoy all and good luck tonight.

The horror of horrors, Deadheadz looking strong in 1st place with the Jason Marquis & Clint Barmes balls of steel plays. Congrats. Nice to see guys who don't have the means to play the Main Event to get a chance this way.

While I enjoy the Daily games on occassion, it doesn't even come remotely close to the season long experience....this notion that DFS will replace the season long games, to me, is asinine. I know Shandler is promoting the month long games of which I have not participated mainly because I don't care for the prize structure, but it is beyond me why they don't have week long contests, that seems like the perfect time-frame for baseball "dailies." I would really enjoy setting a line-up every Sunday, analyzing the match-ups for the week and watching it play out for the week. Make it happen someone.

+1, In fact, this was one of the things that was talked about with a few guys on these boards. I think you would have more crossover from NFBC to fanduel and vice versa if they could pull it off.

Congrats to dead heads for winning.

I think its cool thats you can click on the link now and it shows the standings even if you didn't enter the event.I always like looking at the different lineup combos to see how teams constructed their team.

Very cool that the standings and teams remain after the contest is done. That wasn't the case last week. Okay, congrats to Chris Piper, who earns his way into the 2016 NFBC Main Event with this win last night. Here's a look at the Top 5 teams from last night's NFBC/Fanduel Contest:

1 deadheadz 63.75 2016 NFBC Main Event Entry ($1600 Value)
2 jdobies64 57.41 $150.00
3 kjduke11 50.75 $100.00
4 krukster 49.33 $75.00
5 rudog56 49.25 $75.00

I believe winners were:

1. Chris Piper
2. Jeff Dobies
3. KJ Duke
4. Eric Heberlig
5. Emmett Ruland

Now that deadheadz will be participating in the main event let's hope its live in New York. As a matter of fact, I'll pay for his flight to NYC if Tom agrees to bunk in the same room with him.... congrats

Well done deadheadz.

It's a credit to our players that I won quite a bit of money on fanduel last night but my same line-up was only good for 14th in the NFBC comp.

What are the odds for the 2016 draft awards that Deadheadz wins:

1. Mr. Congeniality
2. Rookie of the Year
3. Most Enthusiastic
4. (The Ichiro) MVP and Rookie of the Year

I learned this year that guys' Message Board personalities and reputations can be quite different from their actual personalities.

Congratulations, Chris.

I don't look at this as a win for DH as much as I do for the entire NFBC community.

Our 80% payback for next year is now 80.2%.

.

Thanks guys. I've learned a lot about DFS by reading your posts and even Todd Z's Insider blog. Tuesday was a lucky day for my players and I had to go to sleep looking over my shoulder at both Krukster and KJ who both had active players in the Astros v Mariners game.

My entry into the 2014 Online ME was so brutal that I took this year off that format trying to focus on the DC game. The 2016 ME ticket will likely be another online entry but if I can make it to a live event it will be in Chicago before LV or NYC.

Ya gotta pick yer battles, right?

(sorry Chicago guys, I know you're all sharks)

Krukster is Heberlig of course. That dude is everywhere.

Congrats to those who cashed!
