I would actually view this as a positive. I think you would see improved numbers in 3 of the possible 4 categories. His win total will suffer mightily. I would look for him to have about 12-15 wins with the Diamondbacks with an e.r.a. a full run lower (high 3's) as well as improved strikeouts facing the weaker hitting National League as well as a pitcher to face every 9 batters vs. a power hitting DH.
There is also much less pressure for him to succeed which is usually a good thing.
I'm interested to see what you guys think.
