For a few minutes last night, I was excited about the Mets. Carlos Gomez would have brought an intensity and excitement to the lineup that they haven't had in a long time. It's hard to tell what's true in the media reports. But unless Gomez has a serious hip problem, I think the Mets are crazy.

Mike, I'm guessing that improving the Metropolitans' medical care program will be your main campaign platform for 2015.

expect nothing less from the Mess. i just assumed it was held up because the mutts screwed up wheeler's surgery and operated on the wrong arm.

Your closer than you think on priorities. I was talking to an employee of the Mets AAA team in Vegas and he said upgrading their training was a high priority due to all the injuries. Wheeler, Matz, Harvey, Parnell and I'm sure I'm missing many more, Darnaud and a few others in Vegas. We have to have the worst facility in AAA especially for training.
