We start the day with 68 spots left in tonight's NFBC/Fanduel contest. Let's sell it out again folks and keep this contest going each week going forward. Thanks much and good luck all.
Will we get another new winner tonight or will one of our previous winners earn a second $1,600 prize? Remember, you can use that in football or baseball and you can use it on any event, although we are obviously touting the NFBC Main Event!!

NOW ONLY 25 SPOTS LEFT with 80 minutes to go before the first pitch. That seems doable, right? C'mon, let's fill all 91 spots up. Who has what it takes to turn $25 into a $1,600 prize tonight, and eventually $125,000 next year?
Time to fill this up!!

Elation is staying up until 1:00 AM EST, watching Todd Frazier hit a HR in my last team AB of the night, and jumping into first place. Heartbreak is then watching Chris Davis hit a HR three minutes later and finishing in second place. Not easy trying to go to bed after losing out on $1600.
I'm sure newbie had the exact opposite emotions if he was up watching as well. That's part of the fun and frustration of DFS.

Wow, crazy finish indeed. Anyone know who newbie is? Sorry about the second place finish Philly, but thanks for the story.

Dave, that just sucks. My suggestion to you is to start drinking heavily...

Quite a battle last night. Congratulations to Newbie.
I was on target with Harvey and Carrasco yesterday, but not one of my 18 different hitters could hit a ball over the fence. I also played Padre rookie Colin Rea in his MLB debut. He got a win and put up a respectable 10 points for a bargain bin $3,000 investment. My $32,000 offense of Posey, Goldie, Utley, Tulo, Franco, Trout, CarGon and Pollock combined for a mighty 12.5 points.

Chris Link won the free entry into the 2016 NFBC Main Event. Chris has not played in the NFBC, so he's a new member here!! He actually finished 2nd in the contest last week and he won this week's contest on that Chris Davis home run. Pretty cool. I'll reach out to Chris in the next day and get more information from him. Congrats Chris and welcome aboard.

Our latest weekly winner is Chris Link from Jacksonville, Florida. Chris is a perfect example of how DFS can also grow our contests and how opening this contest to all Fanduel members now exposes the NFBC to a whole new marketplace of fantasy players. Chris said he first started playing on Fanduel in January and saw our contest a couple of weeks ago. He decided to try it at $25 and finished 2nd last week. He tried it again this week and finished first.
He said he's never done a live draft before, but with the free entry is considering New York City or Las Vegas. He loves the adrenaline rush of DFS, but is looking forward to his first live draft. Welcome aboard Chris and we look forward to meeting you. We're glad to have you in our season-long game.
