Ruling On Illegal Roster in LV League #1

Okay, I appreciate all of the input on the previous thread about the illegal roster for Team #9 in Las Vegas League #1 and I have decided to take your suggestions on this matter. I felt partly responsible for this illegal lineup because I was the person who checked every team in every league in Las Vegas and I didn't see that Team #9 was missing a legal second baseman. He had Jose Reyes and he assumed he qualified there, but nobody else pointed this out and I didn't catch it, either.
That being said, I did say well before the draft that any illegal roster would have to be corrected through free agency and I will abide by that now. What I have done is asked Team 9 to cut its last pick, which was Sterling Hitchcock, and we will assign him one of the lowest ranked second basemen to make his lineup legal for this week. If he wants a different second baseman, he will have to use his FAAB money for that next Sunday. Team 9 has been notified about this ruling and has definitely agreed to it as they never intended to cause any problems.
I think this satisfies all involved and anyone in Las Vegas League #1 who still needs a top second baseman still has a fair chance to get one.
As for eligibility lists next year, we will provide a complete one for everyone on Draft Day. If this is seriously a point of concern despite the eligibility listings online since December, we will do it. I apologize if anyone didn't understand the Urbina ruling beforehand because I had stated his eligibility well in advance. But even I got confused during the Auction Leagues, so next year everything will be down in black & white for all to see, including me.
I hope this helps. Thanks for your help in this ruling and let's move forward. Let the games begin.
