2015 Main Event Champ - Glenn Schroter
2015 Main Event Champ - Glenn Schroter
It’s with great pleasure that I congratulate this year’s main event champion, Glenn Schroter. I know the amount of time/energy you put into this year, and it’s great to see your hard work rewarded. AND he did it with only one bullet, not like the owners who take multiple teams.
I’ve known Glenn for over ten year’s now. He is a top fantasy talent, standup guy and a great friend. The title couldn’t have gone to a better guy. Congrats Champ!!!!

Congratulations to Glenn on a great year. It was fun to just be in the chase against you in the last weeks--and with a very unlikely chance on last day---but you dominated when you needed it. I will look forward to meeting you in Las Vegas. You are a deserving champion. Have a great off season basking in the "glow"-- smile.

He did an incredible job mixing and matching the pieces to put his offense in a position to be much better than the individual pieces. Really well done.
Re: 2015 Main Event Champ - Glenn Schroter
Great job Glenn. I thought this league would be too tough to generate an overall champion. Needless to say, your domination of it was impressive.

Nice Glenn! Well deserved.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Congrats Glenn! Fantastic job.
Let's give some congrats to Don too... he was right there with an amazing season of his own.
I don't know most of you guys personally as I draft online, but it was fun competing with you all.
See you next year!

Glenn, I tried the same strategy with closers, so I guess you answered my question- IT CAN BE DONE (ed: by someone else). Great FAAB mastery per usual. People don't win these things by accident (understatement of the year)! Enjoy!

Congratulation on a great year, Glenn.

Great job, Champ.
If I'm not mistaken, Glenn is the first Main Event Champion who had the first pick in his draft. I was wondering when that streak would end.

I want to also give props to Mark Srebro on his Main Event league title and 5th overall finish. You dominated that league from start to finish. I enjoyed our conversation we had after the Ultimate Auction on Sunday although our sleeper picks never woke up. Hope to see you again next year.
Re: 2015 Main Event Champ - Glenn Schroter
Once you had Trout, Arrieta and DeGrom I knew I was in trouble before the season even started.
Great draft and in-season management KOQ. One main event team, one dominant overall victory against a solid group of league owners. Impressive.

I know you have been accustomed to being 'The King', but this has to feel pretty good anyway? Congratulations on a hard fought victory! A tip of the cap 'The Don' as well. I enjoyed watching the two of you battle it out.

Re: 2015 Main Event Champ - Glenn Schroter
Congrats Glenn!!
Although I have not done the live events in a few years, I was lucky enough to meet Glenn multiple times in the early years of the NFBC. He was always a gentleman and was happy to chat. He obviously had a great year and hope he has continued success.
On a side note, in 2013 I named my auction team "King of Quahogs"!!! Hoping something would rub off. Since most of you have no idea who I am, obviously it did not work.
Again good job Glenn and hopefully I run into you again.
Thanks,
Dan Mitlof

Nice job Glenn! "Champ" sounds really damn good, doesn't it? Helluva season all around
People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.
