6th Annual $1,000 Draft Champions: Feb. 22nd

Max Ogden started the NFBC $1,000 Draft Champions League six years ago and this league has been a real treat for everyone who has participated in it since 2011. Max is too busy with work and family right now to organize this league again, so he's asked us to take the reins and reach out to everyone in this league from last year. No problem Max and we'll carry on the tradition for you.

Here's the details of this league:

Entry Fee: $1,000
Format: 8 Hours Per Pick, 50 Rounds, Draft Champions
Prizes: League Prizes Are: 1st = $8,000, 2nd = $3,000, 3rd = $1,000
Overall Prizes: Owners are also competing for NFBC Draft Champions National Championship Prizes as this contest is part of the overall contest
Start Date: Monday, Feb. 15, 1 pm ET

Max has said that owners from last year have first dibs on spots in this league, so look for an email from me to these 15 owners shortly. Let's give you until Dec. 31st to secure your spots before we open this up to other owners. Once we get to 15 owners this league will be closed. Here's the list of owners from last year:

Congrats to Jim Jeckewicz, who won this league title last year with 118.5 points. Jim finished 39th out of 2,880 teams in the NFBC DC National Championship. Jason Magoon finished second in this league and Patrick Gallagher finished third. Kudos to all of you.

Yes it did. I found the personal resemblance flattering, but my hair is longer than that. I also ditched the Hulk pants after being refused service at some of the finer dining establishments in Greeley.

Despite a truly masterful packing job, the postal service still managed to get one in on his hands and saw off his bat. My first epoxy attempt led to the dreaded disease known as Saggy Bat Syndrome. I am experimenting with space age polymers mixed with a few grains of Viagra to see if I can firm the old boy up. Stay tuned.
