Derek Van Riper at Rotowire.com has created an NFBC-style draft today with the results going into their 2016 Fantasy Baseball Magazine. I'm one of 15 owners in the draft, with folks like Vlad Sedler, Eric Karabell, Paul Sporer and others. I assume Todd will be in this one.
Anyone, I'll post the first 6 rounds once we're done and see if the industry writers are any different from our early NFBC drafters. Should be fun.
I'm using our early NFBC ADPs, so I hope you guys drafted well this off-season!!

Psssst...the Braves pitchers are real sleepers!
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Yesterday's draft with 14 other industry writers was a lot of fun. To get complete results of this draft, please pick up the Rotowire Fantasy Baseball Magazine that will hit newsstands in late January. That is always one of my favorite pre-season magazines and it should be good again.
This mock draft was a 15-team, 30-round NFBC-style draft in mid-December. Never easy, but it went well. We finished in under 3 hours and didn't have any miscues. Here's a look at the first 6 rounds:

Well aside from the XFL auction
Curious why you took Posey so early (normally the industry drafts go late on C) and what your choices were at 2.14?

Surprised Votto went at 2.10, did not realize Doughboys had a team to draft.

Maybe someone thought it was an OBP league .... or stuck in a time warp from 2010

Mastersball subscribers can probably pick out my squad pretty easily. Let's play guess Zola's team and I'll post it later for proper mocking.

BHam won't last anywhere close to 9th round once the real drafts fly, same for Matz in the 11th. Certainly like those picks. Think you popped Crawford a little too early. Closers always seem to go much later in expert mocks than in real drafts.
