Just a ridiculous bullpen if they don't trade Miller.
For those taking Betances early. Sympathies.

I posted on your forum that the Yanks' best move now might be to trade Betances for starting pitching or a big bat. Because he is cheap and under team control, his trade value may be the highest of the three relievers (see Astros' acquisition of Giles).

Once they find out (if) Chapman is not suspended, that would be a very smart double move.

I know that Girardi is a huge Betances guy. Loves that he can work two innings at a time.
A trade of Betances would not be something he would support. That would have to be a Cashman deal.
They also have the option of making either Miller or Betances a Starter again.
Both have their roots in starting.
Chapman gives the Yankees a lot of roads that were closed before.

Probably right, I don't think I'd want to move Betances either - move Miller or give him a shot to start would be interesting.

I think they go with all three. Make it a 5 inning game like KC has been able to win with. When season is over they will give Chapman a QO that he will turn down and Yanks will grab another pick and still have dominant pen.
Of course if someone offers the moon for Miller I am sure they will listen.
Although if the suspension is long enough then Chapman is Yankee property for two years.

Wasn't Chapman given the opportunity to be a starter in Cincy at least twice? Is that door closed or could the Joba ruining Yankees still think that's an option? With Eovaldi as another speedballer, maybe they think he could help Aroldis figure out the starting role.
A hell of a bullpen for the Yanks

Per Al Leiter on twitter: "Wow! The best swing and miss relievers in MLB #1 Miller 42.7% #2 Chapman 42.6% #3 Betances Combined 1.70ERA & 347K in '15
Best pen in MLB!!"
Wow, indeed.

I venture to say all three won't be they after the trade deadline.
