With All due Respect

How is Chad Schroeder not the leading money winner in the NFBC? The updated numbers appear to be a bit delinquent. I know he doesn't care, but with all due respect to Lindy, he's in a class by himself right now. It's Chad then Lindy and then the rest of us in my book. Sorry NY and SD you'll just have to live with it!!

With all due respect, it appears that Chad doesn't care, none of us in the favored area of the country care, so it appears that the only one that cares about this is you.
Donn Johnson is #1. Chad is catching up. Great numbers to look at but in the end, all those guys near the top are amazing players. Who number one is assigned to is irrelevant. Chad is in the hall of fame. He has received accolades as one of the best players in the game. But even he has proclaimed Donn as the top guy, in past posts.
Not even sure why I responded to this but figured I would add on to the conspiracy.

Hopefully all figures are up to date. If they aren't, they should be updated. Chad is a top notch opponent.
If Chad truly doesn't care, why are you posting? You sound an awful lot like his spokesman. Do u get him coffee in the morning too?

The figures will be updated. We certainly meant no disrespect to Chad by not having his total listed correctly. Unfortunately, it is not an easy job manually keeping track of 12 years of prize winning data. Mistakes will occur. It definitely helps if this is brought to our attention so we can update it but if there are mistakes it certainly isn't being done intentionally or to try and slight anyone. My apologies to Chad for not having his career total listed correctly.

How does total prize money won work for teams with dual owners?
I could see in cases where one owner is only a partner financially that the decision making owner receives credit for 100%. But in a case where both owners are active participants it seems inaccurate to credit one owner with 100% when clearly there are appreciable advantages to having two owners pooling their knowledge and sharing the workload.

The primary owner is listed unless someone has the same co-manager every year. It would be too difficult to track individual years where owners work together since over time many different people form partnerships, some for only one year while others for longer. So to simplify the process we list the primary owner, just like we do with the prizes being paid. Those go entirely to the primary owner unless a shared prize form is filled out.
What would be ideal is to have player accounts set up that lists everyone's career and annual winnings sorted by contest. That would include any prize splits. Unfortunately that isn't something we have available so until that time comes we'll continue listing the primary owner only to try and keep the list as clean as possible.

I know why you responded. You are obsessed. With all due respect though, I do care. So does Joe. He was a big part of me being the current money list leader. He takes pride in that. This is something that is not up for debate. It is a money list. I am leading it. Does it matter as to who is the best? No. I would take my chances in a net money list as well though, which does matter. So if they are going to have a money list, then it should be correct. So Joe is right IMO. And I have never proclaimed Donn as the top guy since he no longer is. So quit making things up.
As for the hall of fame, I am not in the Hall of Fame. We all have opinions on who should be or not. And that is why I don't care about being the in Hall of Fame. If people that should be in it are not, then it loses credibility. Lets say there is a player that is in the HOF. Lets say he is extremely overrated. Lets say there are many far better players that are not in. If this is the case it just means Greg and Tom's opinion is off. It means they aren't using very good data to make the determinations. They are right about things more than they are wrong. But they are wrong sometimes as well. Since this is not a science, I won't lose any sleep over not being the Hall of Fame, although anytime you are on a small list with great guys like Lindy and Steve, it would be kind of cool.

Wow, pretty pathetic post from a champion. I was wrong. You are in the NFFC hall of fame.. my bad. You belong in this one too, for your accomplishments... Everything else, including your tirades, accusations, and overall disrespect, you are near the bottom.
Very sad that a champion has to be such a miserable ass. Maybe if you shut your mouth on your nightly drinking binges, you would gain the respect you deserve.

Vulgarity is not what the NFBC is all about. Alan, you're simply a joke and enjoy reading your jealous rants. Gekko, call Mr. Padilla and let him know he was the only one of you two that got stuck with his stats that opening day
UKY is right, this has no place to go. Out of respect for what Greg A. is going through I will not respond to a couple of the posts. As for Yah, all I was looking for was an accurate reflection of the overall money standings.

Joe - Please just go away. You start inflammatory threads when drunk. No one wants your lame posts here. "

Joe, you know nothing about me, because if you did, you would see that I care very little about money or having my name in lights, unlike what is apparent about your "partner". I respond to what I see and I am crystal clear on this one. You two belong together.

Says a guy that suggests that throwing at peoples heads at 100 mph was a good idea. If I am on a drinking binge, you are on on one hell of a coke binge. No other explanation for thinking throwing at someone's head is a great idea unless you have some serious screws loose.

My record in the previous 3 years prior to the coattail year you refer to was 6 wins out of 16 high stakes events. I cashed in 65% and did it playing with honor and integrity and by the rules. 4 primetimes wins, a super and a main event.
You finished second one year in the main event and it was well documented that you cheated. The winner that year stuck it out with Paddilla that day and still beat you. The game has passed you by so you simply choose to play slow draft competitions, you appear to be pretty good at it, have fun.
I play to win and when I do, I do it with integrity and never trample on the game itself. You play to win at all cost, I play to win while respecting the game that we all love. Good For you Mark!

You don't know anything about us either. What I do know about you is that you are a jealous unhinged lunatic that thinks that throwing at peoples heads at 100 mph is a good idea.

Joe -
You are probably the person who would be voted "least respected NFBC participant"
as far as your record, whenever you won money in the NFBC, it was probably someone else pulling the strings, ie Chad or whomever. No one actually believes you succeeded on your own. they think you are someone who wears a tin foil hat (conspiracy nut job) and rides on the backs of others skills/success, ie coattail.

That record keeping discrepancy could have been remedied with a email to Greg or Tom. This was something you wanted to talk about with an audience.
Here's my point. It's fine to not like people. I'm nursing a couple 30 year old grudges that I love like old friends. Roughly the same amount of time that's passed since I spent any time with the objects of my scorn.
You guys, on the other hand, are some of the best roto players in the world and hopefully you'll all live long lives and spend a good portion of them competing against each other in these contests. You don't have to like everybody, but repeating the same insults and accusations reflects poorly on everybody, including the NFBC itself, if a new board member happens to check out one of these redundant smack threads.

Padilla was no conspiracy my friend. Very well documented, you took the weasel way out while the champion that season played it with integrity. Everyone knows it and I have never ever been accused of not playing out any league and playing it out to the best that my team could do. If everyone played the game that way this place would be a lot more popular than it is.
You drove off many with your cheating ways, I say it again, very well documented. Many east coasters are very jealous of the success of others. I actually enjoy all of the rants.
