Out West. We Rock. We Rule. We are the Best.
The Lombardi Trophy is back. The Larry O’Brien trophy is safely housed in San Fransisco.
It’s an even numbered year and you know what that means: The LA Kings will hoist the Stanley Cup for the third time in five years this June.
And, oh yeah, we ALL know what Bochy and the boys will be doing this fall.
We have California girls. We have the best golfer in the world. The best surfers. The best coffee. We make the best airplanes, the best software and the best wine.
We have it all.
So why do we get no respect? The next time any talking-head you know goes on auto-mouth and says the American League East is the best division in baseball, don’t argue, just punch him in the mouth and tell him to shut up.
And what’s with all this time zone crap.
Why is everything listed with the eastern time zone first? It’s only some weird language that reads from right to left, right? So don’t say 8 PM ET/7 PM CT (5 pm pt) like a dyslexic.
And why does everybody just totally forget about Rocky Mountain Time? What’s up with that?
We live in America. So let’s act like Americans.
Let’s read our time zones from left to right, like any good English-speaking American should.
5 PM PT/ 6 PM RMT/ 8PM ET. Get used to that, you east coast pussies.
And let’s cut out all other east coast biases.
Let’s begin by changing the start times for Cutline Drafts.
For the first month of Cutline, the start times have been 4PM PT/ 5 PM RMT/ 7PM ET or 5 PM PT/ 6 PM RMT/ 8PM ET.
4PM???? WOWSER!!! That’s a BUMMER because: A) We westerners haven’t left work yet,
OR B) We haven’t woken from our afternoon nap yet!!
We need our drafts to start after our first cocktail and after our dinners!
Well, thankfully, some cowboys have strong-armed Greg, made him say Uncle, convinced him that West is Best, and that we deserve better draft times.
So he has given us some. So now let’s fill those Cutline Leagues up!
There is one tonight at 7 PM PT/ 8PM RMT/ 10ET.
Another one Thursday night, 6 PM PT/ 7 PM RMT/ 9ET.
And one on Friday at 7 PM PT/ 8PM RMT/ 10ET.
TO BE THE BEST, YOU HAVE TO BEAT THE BEST! OUT WEST!
RONALD WANTS YOU! ENLIST NOW!

Re: Calling All Westerners
I'm all for adding 10 pm ET Cutlines and Online Championship Leagues, and in football we did that this year and filled a few. But the sweet spot definitely was around 9 pm ET for football Cutlines. It seems like 8 and 9 pm ET worked the best.
As we head to March I'll make sure we have plenty of 8 and 10 pm ET Cutlines and Online Championship Leagues, sprinkled in with some 9 pms. Whether anyone believes it or not, we're not biased toward East, West or Midwest. We just want FULL LEAGUES!!
We are off to a great start. The NFBC has never hosted online drafts this early in February before, so it's great to be filling nightly Cutlines and Online Championship Leagues before spring training has even started. You guys are the best. Let's keep filling up as many as we can and once March rolls around, LOOK OUT!! It's going to be crazy every night of the week with the addition of the Cutlines and the Online Championship now having a $100,000 grand prize.
Thanks all and let's see if the West is Best with these new times.
