How much will Tom bid on Clayton Kershaw?

Will Greg dust off the three stud shortstop plan?

Tune in to find out and comment along.

He's mine if he goes for $2. That's fair price for him given what he did to me last year in Tout.

Nutty starting pitcher prices. High.

alright guys..auction is done.....lets see some rosters and some analyzing

nice job all tonight...had a glitch with a player removal that cost us some time....but was a good time.

thanks to todd for doing the google work and Chris from rtsports for helping us with our technical issue

Todd and I will send rosters to Tom and hopefully they are in NFBC in a day or two.

Appreciate Tom and Greg taking time out of their schedule to compete with us!

My thoughts..potentially got 60 saves for $24 bucks well done. Jose/Harvey/Matz/Ventura def a good foundation for SP. Cain at $20 was crazy good. Foundation of team of course McCutch and Harper

solid SP in Hamels(great value at $18), Greinke, Zimmermann and Shields. two solid closers for $20 is nice.

I love Kolten Wong this year so $13 he could way over achieve that. Your team will come down to Kemp and Puig production and how much power Fielder and Votto give ya. Who protects Votto in the lineup if Bruce eventually gets moved?

First of all, I'd like to say that I had a BLAST last night in this online auction league with some great competitors and two great facilitators (Andy and Todd). Thanks to everyone for a job well done. It was long (6 hours), but it sure as hell beat watching the Republican Debate!!

I kind of felt like Donald Trump last night with folks on my right and my left beating the hell out of me. Damn, I couldn't get anyone early on. I finally settled on Manny Machado as my foundation and Zack Greinke to lead my pitching staff. It was a battle the rest of the way, but we'll see how it plays out. I may have gone in too much for pitching, which leaves this team short of power and speed (if Ellsbury goes down again), but hopefully there are some comeback seasons from some of the guys I took risk on.

Again, kudos to Andy and Todd for setting this one up and moderating it. Also thanks to RT Sports, which has really improved this auction software. I'm very, very impressed with it and I highly recommend it for anyone who has the itch for an online auction. It's exactly what we always wanted in the industry. Anyone who remembers the old days of FantasyAuctioneer.com knows how badly we'd kill for software this good. Great job RT Sports and thanks to Chris for being in the room with us last night to cure a couple of hiccups.

It was a great, great time and I look forward to the competition ahead. I have a bunch of fat guys on my roster, so it's time to get two-a-days rolling this spring with my crew. C'mon Pablo and Fielder, put down those extra donuts. And let's see if Tyler Glasnow can be this year's Noah Syndergaard. I'm hoping so. ;)

Good luck all. Wish I had more saves, steals and home runs, but it is what it is. Should be fun.

Prince fielder for $14, Lind for $1 and Greinke for $25 all stand out as the best buys posted so far to me.

So last night was a blast. I went into the auction with a stars and scrubs strategy and I think it went ok? I got a little wrapped up in the bidding wars early and paid a little more than I wanted for my first guy Heyward but oh well it happens. I also somehow ended up with Wheeler in my que and that worked out real well. Lol. All in all I think my team is ok but might need some pitching so I went for some wild cards in the reserve draft that could be huge if they find teams. Worth a shot right? All in all we had a good time and I want to thank Andy and Todd for their help last night and Chris from RTSports.

C- Swihart $7
C- Vogt $7

CI- Y. Escobar $1
UT- J. Iglesias $1
Of- Blackmon $28

great fun as always. My thanks to everybody who made it happen.

C - Posey 27
C - Grandal 7
1B - Gonzalez 20
2B - Gordon 30
SS - Seager 22
3B - Duffy 5
CI - AJReed 2
MI - TTurner 2
OF - CDavis 30
OF - Peralta 15
OF - Gordon - 7
OF - Valencia - 2
OF - Aoki - 1

Keuchel - 24
Familia - 16
CMartinez - 13
Odorizzi - 12
McCullers - 11
DeSclafani - 3
Strickland - 3
Betances - 2
Finnegan - 1

R - Travis
R - Duffey
R - Velasquez
R - MTaylor
R - EEscobar
R - Bailey
R - Pomeranz

I really had no plan for this one. I got Dee Gordon and Chris Davis to set my speed and power foundation and then I paid up for Posey. Once I added Grandal, that was 34 bucks just for backstops. That's something I rarely do in an auction.

Closer values were weird in this one. I got Familia as the first closer off the board and then someone always went one dollar more than as I was trying to find another one.

Oh yeah, I have Trea Turner and Michael Taylor rostered just in case I didn't hate Dusty Baker enough already.

No idea if my team is any good or not but I was pretty happy for the most part. I NEVER get the top players I want for value prices in an auction. Been that way for years. So while others get Felix for a bargain I pay exactly what I was prepared to pay for guys like Harvey and Fernandez. Oh well. I was hoping to get one more solid SP and have Ventura as my No. 4 SP to minimize the risk with him but that didn't work out so I'm banking on him settling into being a more consistent pitcher. We'll see.

Agree with Greg that the RT setup is very good and thanks to Todd and Andy for keeping an eye on everything. Should be a fun league. I'm looking forward to it. :)
