I'm shamelessly bumping this thread. It's time we got this league filled. This Main Event is the perfect way to start the NYC weekend.

No shame in bumping it up, Mike. It's a great draft with quality competitors. I know of at least one additional top competitor waiting in the wings on this one depending upon how things shake out with the Vegas registrations. We should get there. I'm sure that Greg is working diligently every night on filling this thing.Bronx Yankees wrote:I'm shamelessly bumping this thread. It's time we got this league filled. Re: 6 Spots Left: Thursday March 24 NY Main Event
Unfortunately we've had two owners drop out of this league in the last few days which means we now need seven more signups to go until we reach a sellout. This was a full league in New York last year and that's what we want this year but if by early next week we're still stuck we'll open it up to Online. We know there are some people who would dive into this day/time on the phone. Again, the goal is a sold out league with all 15 teams drafting live in New York but if we don't see some momentum in the next week or so we're gonna turn this into a phone league.
You can sign up on the site or email me and I'll get you set up. I know there are folks out there looking to draft in New York so let's make this happen.

Re: 6 Spots Left: Thursday March 24 NY Main Event
The simple answer must be that people are just afraid to face me and get their ass kicked in this one with such a powerful group of competitors lined up for this league. Just goes to show you where all the talent is in the NFBC, and it's on the east coast.Red Sox Nation- wrote:Tom Kessenich wrote:Unfortunately we've had two owners drop out of this league in the last few days which means we now need seven more signups to go until we reach a sellout. Now can we fill this league up? Mikey the Mouth and Gekko in the same league and it's not full yet? Sheesh. Let's do it.

just an FYI - Mike Mager came in 3rd overall last year. Clearly the morning line favorite to win this league. Let's see how well he does as a frontrunner.

LOL. Don't go trying to stick me with that "favorite" label. I'm not sure the role of underdog suits you at all.Gekko wrote:just an FYI - Mike Mager came in 3rd overall last year. Clearly the morning line favorite to win this league. Let's see how well he does as a frontrunner.

Anyone considering this league, please don't let Gekko fool you. He goes straight ADP by the book!
You might just as well consider this a 14 team league with him in it...actually 13 including me, so it's really a no-brainer to jump into this league. It will probably be the easiest of all the NFBC Main Event offerings this year, so EASY MONEY is what I'm saying.

Re: 2 Spots Left: Thursday March 24 NY Main Event
If anyone needs a reason to join this league, take a look at last year's main event standings and search the name "Mike Massotto"

Re: 2 Spots Left: Thursday March 24 NY Main Event
I cant make it live for this one. Have family commitments. I will be in NYC Friday AM. I can do by phone/internet but hopefully you guys sell out live. Seems like a competitive group.Baseball Furies wrote:Tom Kessenich wrote:Now only TWO guaranteed live spots left for the first Main in New York. I know of at least two other top NFBC competitors out there waiting in the wings so-to-speak who could easily add this their respective schedules...And yes, Edelman, you fantasy football playing puss, you're one of them! Now stop you're waffling, and show us what you're made of besides runny batter and a few shriveled blueberries thrown in.

Still no Edelman on this list?!!! Boy, is he milking it for all the attention he can get this year.
