We offered a Thursday night Main Event in New York for the first time last year and it proved quite popular for those who couldn't make it on Saturday or wanted to double up on their Big Apple Main Event Experience. This league is back for 2016 and spots are available. I'm shamelessly bumping this thread. It's time we got this league filled. This Main Event is the perfect way to start the NYC weekend.

No shame in bumping it up, Mike. It's a great draft with quality competitors. I know of at least one additional top competitor waiting in the wings on this one depending upon how things shake out with the Vegas registrations. We should get there. I'm sure that Greg is working diligently every night on filling this thing.

Unfortunately we've had two owners drop out of this league in the last few days which means we now need seven more signups to go until we reach a sellout. This was a full league in New York last year and that's what we want this year but if by early next week we're still stuck we'll open it up to Online. We know there are some people who would dive into this day/time on the phone. Again, the goal is a sold out league with all 15 teams drafting live in New York but if we don't see some momentum in the next week or so we're gonna turn this into a phone league.

The simple answer must be that people are just afraid to face me and get their ass kicked in this one with such a powerful group of competitors lined up for this league. Just goes to show you where all the talent is in the NFBC, and it's on the east coast. So any true pros (or people who think they are) left out there who have what it takes to hang with the big boys? We'll even take you over the phone at this point from what I understand if you're afraid of appearing live at the draft table to face the rest of us.

LOL. Don't go trying to stick me with that "favorite" label. I'm not sure the role of underdog suits you at all. (Also, if memory serves, you were right up there yourself last year.)

I cant make it live for this one. Have family commitments. I will be in NYC Friday AM. I can do by phone/internet but hopefully you guys sell out live. Seems like a competitive group.
