Let me tell you guys, parting with $1,250 was not an easy thing. I was quite hesitant at first, but at some point I said "What the hell" and signed up for this thing, without having a clear idea what I was getting into. I just saw Greg's name attached to the contest, and figured it was legit. I mean, it's like Santana running a fantasy league for Rock Stars (You'd be my first round pick MeatLoaf!) If such a big name in the industry is willing to do something like this, common sense would suggest he's gonna go all out.



Sure enough, since the moment I signed up, it is clear that this is a first class operation. Greg responds to all my questions and concerns in no time. The goodie bag has expanded to include a pretty cool mix of prep tools. The giveaways netted me an Alex Rodriguez signed baseball. Add to this the fact that I'm going to be spending the start of March Madness in Las Vegas, Nevada, doing a baseball draft with the best fantasy players in the world? It's an embarrassment of riches for a sports nut! Oh, not to mention that fact that we'll be playing for $100,000 and, more importantly, the title of National Champion of Fantasy Baseball.



Like I said, $1,250 is alot of money. And this league probably isn't for everyone. But so far, this customer is more than happy with the returns so far.

Having participated in last years high stakes fantasy baseball contest, I can tell you that you are buying the following with your $1250.



1. Six months of Daily entertainment.

Last year the leaderboard was as fluid as a river. I was checking my roster results several times a day as well as as those of my opponents, looking for ways to gain a half point here and a half point there. It is definitely not like fantasy football where it's mostly just plug and play.



2. A vacation in Las Vegas (NY or Chi.) during the best time of year both weather wise (70 to 75 degrees and sunshine) and action wise. Every TV in Vegas is tuned to NCAA first round games and the cheers and groans from the overflowing Sports Books make you feel like you're at a live sports event.



3. A chance to meet the elite of the fantasy sports world and pick their brains. The guys who write those magazines you read and the guys who publish all the websites you go to. (no, not the porno sites). You also get to compete against these guys and kick their asses. Get even with the guy who convinced you that Ken Griffey Jr. couldn't possibly get hurt 4 years in a row.



4. A chance to spend 4 or 5 hours in the biggest and most pressure filled live draft you will ever do. Let me tell you by the end of a 29 round 15 team draft, that one minute draft time makes it awfully difficult to find a second catcher that hasn't already been selected. When they start counting down those last seconds wow! what a rush. Cocaine for the sports nut.



5. A little thing like a chance to win $105,000!!!!. I pull this one off and I retire early.



Six months of entertainment ($6.94 a day), a vacation in Vegas, and an event you'll remember for a lifetime for only $1250????

Ken... did you talk me into Griffey last year or was that some other SOB I gotta take a bat to!?



Seriously - from someone who knows Ken (Leaderboard Sports), got the pleasure of meeting Meat Loaf (two words, Rey!) last year and someone who is fortunate enough to be able to afford a hobby like this... get in the game, baby!



Put off buying the latest golf clubs, DO NOT waste your money on Pete Rose's new book and get involved.



Besides, if you go to Vegas, you can take an additional $1250, walk up to the nearest roulette wheel, bet on black or red and maybe even pay for your entry
