Apparently the assets of CDM Sports were purchased by a new company and will be operating under the CDM Sports brand. Great news as far as I'm concerned. I've been playing these since the mid-90's and love putting together my team (I refuse to say Squad) as Opening Day approaches and usually am making changes to it down to the final deadline hour. Glad to see DFS is not devouring the season long salary cap games.

Yes, I'm VERY happy for Charlie, John and the whole crew at CDM Fantasy Sports. At one time, USA Today's Diamond Challenge had the biggest prize in the industry and the company was almost purchased by USA Today. Then the lawsuit with Major League Baseball Advanced Media came forward and things changed forever. CDM saved the industry with that historic lawsuit, but salary cap games struggled without more of the promotional might that it had before the lawsuit.
Fanball acquired CDM in 2009 with Rob and Charlie working together on that deal. Now Rob has started a new company and he's trying to create something special there. He's leading off with CDM Fantasy Sports, which makes sense. Best of luck to two good friends in the industry and congrats to Charlie and the crew for making it happen in 2016. Best of luck guys.
