It's time to shine some light on the Rotowire Online Championship Plus contest that will be ramping up here in March and early April. This is our new format in the 12-team area as it replaces the NFBC Primetime with bigger league prizes and a bigger overall prize pool. This should be a lot of fun.
This is all part of the Rotowire Online Championship, which this year will have a record grand prize of $100,000. By combining the live and the online format, we are expecting a total of 1,800 teams. Each league contributes $1,260 to the overall prize pool, which means there's a lot more money left at the $750 and $1,500 levels for the league prizes. And isn't that what we all know we can control? So in the $750 OC Plus, the top league prize is $4,000 and in the $1500 OC Plus the top league prize is $9,000.
Honestly, if you want to play for $350 and win $1400 in the league, why not just step it up a bit in the $750 and win an additional $2,600? That's the way I see it!!
