Three Breakout Players:
1. Raisel Iglesias - SP - Reds
Iglesias displayed a wicked skill set the second half of the season. He finished with the 15th lowest xFIP at 2.92, better than Zach Greinke, Matt Harvey and Gerrit Cole.
He also had the 16th lowest contact% against at only 74.1%. This was better than Madison Bumgarner, David Price and Corey Kluber. It's certainly possible Iglesias will be this year's Arrieta or DeGrom. Drafted in the 7-8 rounds, but performs like a 1-3 rounder. ALL ABOARD!
2. Addison Russell - 2B/SS - Cubs
Highly touted prospect who just turn 22 years old. Dual position eligibility and word on the street is he will start off the year hitting 7th or 8th. A 20HR/15SB season is certainly a possibility. His current pricepoint is rounds 9-11, which he could destroy! Did I mention dual position eligibility?
3. Miguel Cabrera - 1B - Tigers
***Miguel Cabrera said that this offseason was "the first time in three years I worked out normally."
***Tigers added Justin Upton to hit in front of Cabrera
***This spring, Cabrera is producing his best OPS EVER at 1.234
***Cabrera is being drafted AT THE END OF THE FIRST ROUND
