The Future Of The NFBC

Thanks to the best front man in the business (Greg Ambrosius), I think Fantasy Baseball turned an important corner with this years NFBC contest. After watching Fantasy Football surpass Baseball in popularity I can't tell you how pleased I am that the NFBC was such a success this year.
I think everyone involved will be back next year and word of mouth, adding a fourth city, and a few extra sponsors will push next years event way over 300 and maybe even 500 teams. I think a National contest like this will help break down the perceived wall between the LABR, TOUT Wars, Expert Leagues and the Yahoo, ESPN, and local bar leagues. In the not too distant future we may see a dozen cities and thousands of participants competing for millions in prizes.
Thanks again Greg for stepping up for baseball. While I am a huge Football fan and hate the state that Major League Baseball is now in, when it comes to Fantasy Sports nothing can compare to baseball. Give me daily boxscores, debates over LIMA, ZIMA, Scarcity, and punting categories anyday over draft RB,RB,RB, plug them in, wait 6 days to see how they did.
