Celebrity Chats Are Back

Post by Tom Kessenich » Thu Feb 08, 2007 6:54 am

Hey folks, our celebrity chats are back for 2007. I'm still rounding up more industry leaders to take an hour out of their schedules to join us on the boards in the next few weeks but two have already committed to join us. They are:

Ron Shandler, BaseballHQ.com on Feb. 14

Jeff Erickson, RotoWire.com on Feb. 21

Todd Zola, FantasyBaseball.com on Feb. 28

The chats will begin at 2 p.m. ET and will last one hour. I'll create a thread each day and you can submit your questions to be answered. These proved to be a huge hit last year for both the NFBC and NFFC so we're pleased to be able to bring everyone some additional commentary and analysis. Beats listening to Greg and me all the time, right?

Edwards Kings will finally get Shandler to be his valentine. How sweet!

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

I'm not sure the world is ready to put the words "Gekko" and "celebrity" in the same sentence just yet. ;)

Gekko, that was fun when you did the chat one time. I say do it again!

Tom, I think you should have the 2006 champ do a chat if he agrees. People would have questions for him!

FantasyBaseball.com's Todd Zola an NFBC participant - you all know him well - will be our third industry "celebrity" to talk baseball with everyone on Feb. 28th. Thanks Todd and I'll keep updating this list when I secure more guest chatters in advance of the 2007 NFBC.
