I'm starting to like the Ken Giles trade from the Phillies standpoint. We may have an ace in Philly.
Vince Valasquez struck out 16 Padres today, with no walks.
The only other Phillie to do that was Curt Schilling back on 9/1/97 vs the Yankees -- a game I was at.

I love Vincent Velasquez so much!

Among active major leaguers, only Maxwell Scherzer has pulled off the 16/0/CGSO feat. Amazing performance.
