It is still early

Picture it is the day after your auction draft and you post this team out there. Not sure a lack of power would be the first comment anyone would make.

R Martin and Lucroy
Duda, Cron, Valencia, Sano
K Davis, Car Gomez, Blackmon, D Peralta, Heyward
Rendon, Zobrist, Cozart

So if you rostered that team right now you would have zero HR's for the season.

So true Chest. I don't look at standings until June or thereabouts. Meaningless this early

In the Greg/Tom Auction league I have two wins, none from Matt Harvey and Jose Fernandez, my two alleged aces supposedly at the top of my starting rotation.

Tom - If you had only purchased Kershaw, you'd have at least two wins now. ;)

If I would've known what Felix was gonna go for I would've saved my money and gone after him like I did in Tout.

I got a note from one drafter who took three Closers in one of his early drafts.
He doesn't like worrying about Saves.
He took Giles, Doolittle, and Perkins.
It is still early, but sometimes it gets late, early.
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!

Duda breaks out (if you can consider one HR a break-out)!

Three of these guys on one team, three on another. Sigh....
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
