The reason we all play this crazy game each year is because we think we can figure out the madness to a winning team. We believe we can project for the most part what is going to happen each year.

But some things you just can't predict.

In looking at our Top 50 Player List through Sunday's games, it's kind of mind boggling to look at the ADPs of some of these guys. Fifteen of the 50 guys were drafted outside of the Top 100 and 5 of them were drafted outside of the Top 340. Here's a look at some head scratchers:

Eduardo Nunez - ADP of 782, 24th in Player Ratings
Steven Wright - ADP of 701, 45th in Player Ratings
Melvin Upton - ADP of 526, 30th in Player Ratings
Drew Pomeranz - ADP of 405, 50th in Player Ratings
Rajai Davis - ADP of 347, 27th in Player Ratings
Jonathan Villar - ADP of 325, 9th in Player Ratings
Jackie Bradley Jr. - ADP of 320, 39th in Player Ratings
Trevor Story - ADP of 252, 28th in Player Ratings
Wil Myers - ADP of 206, 11th in Player Ratings
Jay Bruce - ADP of 191, 37th in Player Ratings
Jean Segura - ADP of 185, 36th in Player Ratings
Daniel Murphy - ADP of 160, 33rd in Player Ratings
Mark Trumbo - ADP of 159, 34th in Player Ratings
David Ortiz - ADP of 113, 23rd in Player Ratings
Ian Desmond - ADP of 107, 4th in Player Ratings

Ian Kinsler (ADP of 94), Johnny Cueto (72) and Xander Bogaerts (56) all seem to be bargains as well. Crazy how we didn't see all of this coming, right?

true greg- but at least 6 of those players- villar, story, Meyers, segura, Trumbo, and desmond saw their draft spots move up dramatically as we moved toward april 2 weekend. some very good players targeted those guys
