... it would be really nice if teams would announce their rotations at least through the weekend. Multiple teams haven't yet announced their starting pitchers for Sunday. Don't they know we need to set our lineups? For instance, is Chris Sale starting Sunday or Monday? I'd really like to know before the 7 pm EST games start locking, thank you very much. Geez, no consideration for us non-daily fantasy players!

Missed Melvin Upton going on bereavement list late Friday.
Maybe next year we can get a red "B" or something next to their names.

Just don't get rid of the "on-fire" symbol when someone goes 1-4.Atlas wrote:Missed Melvin Upton going on bereavement list late Friday.

Yan Gomes got his second hit of the month.
Hasn't scored a run this month.
Then got hurt in today's game.
Of course, he is "On-Fire".
On my tombstone-

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

You just can't be "on fire" when your teammates are sacrificing chickens to help you get out of a slump.

Indeed. Swift, too. Lesson: Never take on the baseball gods. Also, karma can be quite the bitch.headhunters wrote:that chicken got some revenge
