43 years old and carrying the Mets rotation. ERA is 3.06 as I write this. Say what you want, much respect. Go get'em Colon.
Funny, I just can't bring myself to draft him or acquire him in FAAB if available, and yet every year he provides decent if not better value. Maybe I'm biased due to his age and/or not-so-svelte appearance, although other pitchers could learn a lot from his durability and accuracy. The Mets would be far worse off without him, that's for sure. Still, I have this arguably-irrational fear that the year I break down and own him would be the year that reality sets in. My loss.
