Who Are The Prospects To Add In Early DCs?

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Sep 23, 2016 1:48 pm

Okay, we're going to be working on the Player Default List for the NFBC soon and we want to add as many prospects to the list as possible. This is always difficult for the November and December drafts because players in the lower minors likely won't have STATS Player IDs at the time that our drafts open for business. We have to create temporary Player IDs for them to be included in the NFBC drafts, so let's get on that right now.

We're looking for a list of minor-leaguers who didn't play in the majors this year who will likely be among the first 750 players drafted in the NFBC for 2017. We'll do all we can to add them to the draft room when it opens in November. We'll compile a list here and get it to IT. Thanks for all your help everyone.

Here's the early start thanks to some NFBC owners:

Ozzie Albies
Manuel Margot
Hunter Renfroe
Lewis Brinson
Matt Chapman
Franklin Barreto
Austin Meadows
Nick Williams
JP Crawford
Garrett Stubbs
Brett Phillips
Sean Newcomb
Max Fried
Lucas Sims
Brendan Rodgers
Victor Robles
Rafael Devers
Gleyber Torres
Jorge Mateo
Eloy Jimenez
Alex Verdugo
Nick Gordon
Michael Kopech
Derek Fisher
Adam Engel
Dylan Cozens
Cody Bellinger
Jake Bauers
Ian Happ
Rowdy Tellez
Lourdes Gurriel Jr.

Three more Braves, perhaps:

Sean Newcomb
Max Fried
Lucas Sims
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

.

Not a prospect but it looks like Wilin Rosario should be included in the player pool.
