slow draft as its only December...but we will offer ones closer to season in DC format that pick a night a few days after the auction to do all 27 rounds in same night

Looking at the top 400 players as ranked by RT Sports in the auction room, I've noticed over 2 dozen players who show position eligibility that doesn't count on NFBC. Looks like they're still using 10 games played rather than 20.

I sent out an email as "reply all" to Andy's message so everyone in this league should have the list.

My own commentary:

I overpaid for Sale but don't regret it as he clearly anchors my staff and there's a decent chance he gets traded into a better situation. I also overpaid for Billy Hamilton since my first 6 hitters weren't going to steal me any bases... maybe he'll get traded to an AL team as well...

I did regret passing on Tony Watson to take Vince Velasquez instead (that wasn't the plan but that's how it turned out). I'm not big on Snell or Estrada in the AL East either, but for 2 bucks each they seemed like decent fill-ins.

I think my best buys were Abreu (24) and Porcello (10).

Cotton was my last pick and just used the rest of my budget. I didn't go stars and scrubs. I feel I have several middle of the road guys

I had money late and got into a bidding war to land Jackie Bradley, Jr, thus his inflated price tag. I liked being able to get both catchers and two potential closers for a total of 11 bucks. My best buy was Odubel Herrera for a dollar. I know it was late, but I was pleasantly surprised nobody bid on him.

Thanks. I decided to change my split this year and devote some more money to pitchers. I went into this auction planning to split my money 160/100. I would up spending 92 on pitching. I like your staff, too. You got great bargains on Tanaka and Osuna.
