Greg I heard you on XM radio the other day. Nice job on promoting the league.
Does anyone know what's going to happen to the baseball games on XM after they merge with Sirius?
I heard a rumor that they are going to make it a premium service and charge more does anyone know if that is true?
Thanks,
Corked Bats

I doubt anyone "knows" anything yet. I have Sirius for football and Stern. Would love to have baseball too. I'm hoping the merger goes through, which is still not a lock.
If they want to save money they can fire Oprah and Martha, keeping baseball/football/Stern free.

Corked Bats Thanks. Charge more?? You think??
Jeff Erickson said he didn't expect any changes this year and it should take some time to get FCC approval on this anyway. I'm sure the details will emerge once that happens. Honestly, it probably would be a good thing if they merged, but it's hard to believe that the prices would stay the same without any serious competition in this space.
By the way, does anyone know if DirecTV has settled on a price for MLB Extra Innings? I called last week and they still didn't have that offer ready. I have this feeling that if it's exclusively on DirecTV this year that my $149 price from last year will go up!

You think??

[/QUOTE]It can't get any worse than The Sunday Ticket. I haven't seen a current price either, so I guess we have to wait.
