These drafts are a blast. I ended up spending 166 on hitting and 74 on pitching and had 4 left over. My pitching is weak but I really like my hitters. I thought Scherzer for $36 was a bargain considering Kershaw went for $48. Picks I wish I could have taken back were Odudel for $11 and Adam Jones for $18. There were so many bargains to be had late and I had already filled so many spots.

I like what you did in the outfield. I think Herrera was priced pretty accurately and you'll be happy to get his stolen bases. I think I went to the wire with you on Khrush, Segura and Oh, too.

This was a fun auction. People were showing uncommon discipline on blue chippers early, but that eroded and money started flying. I thought top end pitching was kind of overpriced throughout. If you were going to pay up for somebody, Scherzer was probably the way to go.

overall, hitting looks very strong. only blemish would be holliday who can become a part-time player as the season goes on. you only spent a buck on him so, no harm, no foul.

pitching-wise...eek! trust me, i am the biggest Eickhoff fan (likely had him on more teams than anyone last year); however when he is your #2 SP, probably not an ideal situation.

I agree I thought I got a discount on Bregman, Segura, and Rendon. I was planning on spending some of those dollars on pitching. Looking back I should have went with cheaper catchers and grabbed a legit #2 SP and maybe a legit #3

In the first auction that I participated in Segura went for $17, Rendon $17 and Bregman $17. I guess I really didn't get a big discount on any of those players. The only reason I drafted Segura was because at the time I was short speed
