Greg will be in Phoenix next weekend for spring training games, LABR drafts, coronas, maybe some poker or pool time - not necessarily in that order.
All in all I doubt he and Tom look at drafting leagues and draft orders until at least March 5

Believe it or not, we have 10 inches of snow in the last 24 hours and six more inches are expected tonight. Phoenix and sunshine can't come soon enough for your truly!!! 16 INCHES OF SNOW!!! Even I can't believe it and I've lived here my whole life.

That's incredible (the snow!)
I'd be happy to know who's in my league...much easier than figuring out the KDS and such.
To me, knowing who's in my league is more fun than finding out my draft slot.
Phoenix rules this time of year. A pitcher in each hand walking to the swimming pool at 11 am. Trying to enjoy the beer before the sun takes it's toll on the 2nd pitcher.

How about one big push this week and we hit 360 by Friday? That would be a pretty good deal in my opinion.

Tom and Greg, I know you see the possibility of this thing filling up by Wed-Thurs this week. Are there any plans on letting us know a draft order and leagues on Friday-Saturday? I mean we know you two have lives other than this (even though this has to be like a 2nd family to you , and we are kind of all like your children). Please do not neglect your 2nd family? No but seriously, is there any chance all that work could be done if it fills up? Also, the Satellite league Sun March 11th 5P, that draft order has to be Mon or Tues, right? I will wait for a response. Keep up the awesome work though on this quality product. There is none like it in the business in my opinion and I am glad to be a part of it. I just recently just started the posting part here and I look forward to posting more and seeing everyone in Vegas this time around again (even though I live 45 min from Tampa). Thanks. The $250 Satellite champion (regular season and playoffs, I forget which date). Bruce.

Oops. I see. Feb 28th the KDP deadline is noon, and the order listed later that day. My bad.

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

I know. I probably will next year. This is our (my wife and I) last chance to leave Florida as we are adopting a girl (due in June). Our 1st child, Allison, 5, is ours naturally. So next season I should be in Tampa. We just like to go to Vegas when we get the chance. Bruce

I leave for Phoenix on Friday morning for the LABR drafts and it will be tough to get to 360 before then. Tom and I both need to be present to do the draft picks and KDS, so it won't be before Wednesday of next week at the earliest. I get back on Tuesday from Phoenix.
We are very hopeful that we can announce the draft picks before our March 11th scheduled deadline, but there are no guarantees. We'll just have to see how these next 7-10 days go. Remember, the last signups are always the hardest!!
And yes you are our second family. 360 impatient kids!!!
And we love you all!!

Greg, first off enjoy the trip as your extended family will be very anxious for your safe return. Week of March 17th is almost upon us.
In football last season, those Lenny & Emil guys did something different in that they announced individual Draft spots very early but held the league placements until after all the signups. I never looked into how they did this and I signed up very late and actually ended up picking from the last spot.... #12. ( football obviously ) Do you have any insight into how they did this and if so, would you ever consider this for nfbc/nffc?
This year, more than in the past, I find that the draft spot will have alot to do with your overall approach to a Serpentine Draft.

This year, more than in the past, I find that the draft spot will have alot to do with your overall approach to a Serpentine Draft. Yes, I know how they did it. The WCOFF guys LOVE to know their draft spots in advance. But we wouldn't be able to do that with KDS because obviously you then get seeded after we randomly pick the draft slots. I think the KDS is a better option than getting it out early.

Greg-
Remember that Tampa got their slots last last year, like any good serpentine draft they should be first off the press this year................
