Phone hookup for the main event
Greg, I used to say no to the phone hookup idea. But after watching it over the last couple of years I see no problem with it. If you need to do a phone hookup with a main draft league in Las Vegas I'd have no problem doing it. Just throwing it out there if helps.

Main Event Phone hookups pose no problem on this end. I've watched them run in the past without problems in the NFBC. Agreeing with Walla Walla - now that may be a problem.
Only kidding JC.

Do you guys not have cell phones and so you need hook-ups for rotary-dial phones? Too bad we can't post pics on here anymore.

I understood all of the early concerns about phone hookups and trust me we don't want to do any of them. I still think we have a very good shot at closing out three of the cities with perfect 15's. Only time will tell, but we'll see. As for patching in some folks for Tampa, I know we can handle this well for everyone and make it enjoyable for those at the Tampa Convention Center and those calling in. Now let's get some more signups and close this thing out.
Oh, secondly, this has allowed two of our best customers who are disabled and can't travel this year to remain in the main event and trust me they'll both battle for titles. They are also VERY grateful that we could work this out. This really is a great world, isn't it?

On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!

I hope we get to 43 live bodies in Tampa and then we'll be perfect. But it's always possible that two cities would be hooked up. Let's keep it going and see how it pans out. After 360, it's possible we'll close out some cities that are perfect and only take signups for those cities that can make a perfect 15, but in the end we'd still have to get to 375 or those after 360 wouldn't get in. Time for a little luck to be with us now.
