Greg,

I have to hand it to you. I'm not a big fan of fantasy magazines in general, but your 2nd Fantasy Sports Magazine is AWESOME.

1) Even though I'm not one of the NFBC particiapnt pictured, that two-page color spread is FANTASTIC. Newbies love to see actual $$$$$$$ being reward to people like them. Also, it rewards the players who've done well. if i may suggest a small tweak, i'd include a picture of each of your $100,000 winners for every year you are in business. showing potential customers that you've paid out 100K for multiple years could only help attract people who are skeptical.

2) The Top 20 Sleepers section (written by NFBC Participants) was amongst the best stuff i've read in a magazine in a long time. these are sleepers from folks who put their money on the line each and every year. next year (or even for football later this year), i'd recommend your NFBC/NFFC folks write articles not only on sleepers but disappointments as well. there are a lot of other good ideas you can have folks write on. big growth are here.

KUDOS to Greg and TOM for a great magazine this time around! :D

KUDOS to Greg and TOM for a great magazine this time around! :D I appreciate it GG. Honestly, the question should be: What took Greg and Tom so long to figure out that a two-page color spread showing our NFBC champions would be a wise use of space in their own magazine?? :D And the Top 20 sleepers written by our NFBC members should have been done years ago, too. If we ever get that content site going, it will be features like that EVERY day of the season with my top players being my top columnists. That day will come someday.

We need to do more of this cross promotions for baseball and football and giving face time to our top participants. After all, you guys have made more money playing this than Tom and I, so let's hear YOUR opinions, not OURS.

Thanks for the kudos. I actually agree with you this time! :D

The magazine is excellent...great to see everyone's photos and read about the sleepers, but let's all cut to the chase and get to the best part of the magazine...page 32...Dodgers will be World Series Champs!!! :D :D :D

Awesome!!!!! Unless this magazine turns out to have the Madden jinx effect   I will say I noticed neither Tom nor Greg have Sheets as NL CY Young winner...I assume you both of sticking with the "not top 3" this year stance???

Don't know if Vegas has odds on that, but if they are 20 to 1 or so, I'd lay that money...along with the line I saw of Howard's HR total over under being set at 42.5...easy money

Great job guys, excellent magazine. My only suggestion would be to possibly add a couple more pages with your winners. (Not sure if it fits the layout, but would be nice if it did.)

Oh, and get a picture of David's bag of magic apples!!! :D

All good points. We most definitely will try to incorporate our winners, participants and their thoughts into all future magazines. It's time to make you guys/gals the stars of our magazine and save Tom and I from writing so much!! :D Seriously, the Top 20 Sleepers was a good start and we'll build from there this football season. It's time to make all of you part of that magazine as it helps everyone.

I hadnt read the top twenty sleepers , until you guys just mentioned it.I guess thats why Teahen went a round earlier than i thought, hell everybody in the draft knew he was my sleeper.

LOL GREAT STUFF.

I must admit I went to read the Top 20 Sleepers section first. I thought everyone's input was right on and had a belly laugh about the "Big Dog" sleeper, too. Big Dog...you are now famous!

Rather than have another page of winners, how about a pullout section with the "Women of the NFBC" (actual participation in the event not required)! OK...not a politically correct joke, but on second thought...maybe...~! :D

Greg,

I don't know if you would get a response for this (but I think I would qualify :D ).

Have you guys considered asking owners who had teams that absolutely bombed? I know lots of owners would blame injuries, but if you went beyond that, you may get some great info. In the ultamite last year, I was dead last.

I learned a few things from that draft that others may find helpful (or at least comical :D )

1. I picked first, had Pujols rated as best player and took ARod, due to Pujols "foot problem" and overall feeling that ARod was consensus #1. I will definitely believe in my projections now.

2. I drafted Jake Peavy second. To me, drafting a "high potential" or breakout pitcher that early was big mistake, espcially with so many other good pitchers still on the board.

Just things like that. I'm sure a lot would not want to have their picture or possibly their name blasted all over the country, but it may be worth considering. May help attract new players who see some mistakes are same all over. Just a thought!

I guess I never wanted to approach those owners about writing this subject, but it makes sense if we can find those who are willing to educate the masses on their mistakes! ;) But it's a great idea and we'll consider it for football.

We'll definitely do a Top 20 sleepers and busts for our first football mag and find more ways to incorporate our members. It's time to marry our two products even more.
