Here's the scoop: I just shoveled 15 inches of snow at my place (okay, I lied, I do have a snowblower) and with a 75-foot long, double-wide driveway I'm running out of room to place all this snow. Fortunately, I have a pond at the bottom of my place and that baby should fill up this spring. That's the only good thing about this weather.
I'm carrying on, but now a new snowstorm is headed our way with 6-10 inches of snow. I want out of here right now!!!
Okay, in the next week I'd like to fill up Las Vegas and plan the party. Here's what we have left for LV:
$650 AL Auction League, 4 p.m., March 16th: We have four spots left and there's no reason why we can't fill this one up. We have a great group of owners signed up right now and this will be a fun, tough competition. C'mon, let's fill this one up.
$650 NL Auction League, 9 a.m., March 16th: We have two full NL Auction Leagues in the morning, but there's a sudden push for a third one. We currently have four owners signed up for this one at $650 each and maybe we can talk Eddie and Jim to join us as well. If you have any interest in this one, let me know as it would be fun to have three auction leagues going on Friday morning.
Main Event, Saturday, March 17th: We have 140 teams signed up already in Las Vegas. Can we somehow fill up a 10th league? We have six guaranteed spots left between the four cities, but if we can get to 375 that would give us a shot to add 10 teams in Las Vegas. If you're thinking about joining us for March Madness in Las Vegas and want one of those last teams, let me know now and we'll get this done.
Okay, I'm throwing the party in Las Vegas and I need a few more partiers with me. Here's my selling point: It's March Madness with 48 college games going on over the four days to partake in. It's spring break for the college kids. It's St. Patrick's Day on Saturday. And it's NFBC Draft Day, Christmas for us baseball junkies. Does it get any better than that??
Now let's fill up these last Las Vegas leagues so that I can sleep better at night. See ya there in TWO WEEKS!!!
